The Rag + Bone label as well as Elizabeth & James labels are both synonymous with the perfect jacket. Just in are our three favorite jackets of the season from both designers. The first, from Elizabeth & James, is a lightweight chambray blazer trimmed in white. This jacket is perfect with white jeans, navy pants, denim, and even over a navy or white dress. The trim gives the jacket just enough detail to compliment the perfect fit while keeping its ability to pair easily with other pieces quite easy. Meanwhile, Rag + Bone’s khaki Wilshire Blazer and navy Leigh jacket are both perfectly tailored jackets for the summer/pre-fall season. The lines are clean, the colors simple, and functionality quite versatile. The khaki jacket can easily be worn with your favorite boyfriend jeans or any jeans for that matter, but then also pair nicely over a little black dress for work or a day out. I love the color of this jacket – it is a rich khaki which makes it super easy for any skin tone, unlike a lot of other neutrals that can have a tendency to wash out the wearer’s skin tone. The Leigh jacket is an updated version, fabric wise, of Rag + Bone’s signature jacket for the year. The jacket is much more summer/pre-fall outerwear inspired and the blue color is much more saturated than a typical navy: it really is a beautiful deep shade of marine blue. This jacket is perfect for the summer with a pair of jeans or cropped pant, while also quite easy to roll it over into the fall season with a fantastic scarf or long pant/jean. It looks great fully closed or open depending on the day!
