The Perfect Pump: Camilla Skovgaard

A closet full of shoes and yet it seems like we are always in search of the perfect pump! One would thinks it would be the easiest shoe to find; however, few designers actually execute it well.  A great pump has to have sleek lines, a great heel, supple leather, and great cushion. One of our newest shoes from Camilla Skovgaard certainly meets all of these criteria-  we love this pump! The soft camel/honey color makes it the perfect go-to pump for the season, whether you need it for work, day, or cocktail – this is a must-have for the shoe closet.

Shoe Obsession: Loeffler Randall’s Quinn

Leave it to Loeffler to create a high heel sandal for the season with simple lines, great comfort, and just the right amount of modern detailing. This is the Quinn shoe.   It has a criss cross leather front with tonal mesh ankle and peep toe detail, giving the shoe a refreshing sporty tone that makes it very wearable for the season.  The elephant gray color adds to the ease of the shoe in terms of pairing it with a variety of ensembles. I see it with anything from a white jean to a printed spring floral dress paired with the classic denim jacket or even a sexy solid-colored dress for a night out. What is great about this shoe is that it allows the foot to breath with the mesh, while still supporting it more than strappy sandals that tend to leave swollen summer feet a bit blistered and cut-up after a long day or night on the foot. We love how manageable the height of the heel is and again will be adding another great Loeffler shoe to our much-loved “shoes that go with everything and can be worn all day/night” list. Loving the Lemongrass: Smythe

We are just loving the spring color that Smythe chose for its signature equestrian jacket: lemongrass!!  It is just the perfect shade of yellow paired with cognac leather details that even the most glum won’t be able to resist the happy energy and smile this jacket yields. It can be worn early in the season, such as now, with a great cognac colored boot and of course when those toes make their way our for the season, a great wedge or flat sandal will be perfect with it.
